She was predeceased by: her parent Samuel Waxler; and her son Douglas D. Lazan. She is survived by: her parent Julia Waxler; and her son Gilbert Brenson Lazan (Parcia) of West Hartford. She is also survived by five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
