She was predeceased by: her husband John J. Macaione, Jr.; and her parents, Carl Gioia and Katherine Gioia (Koczur). She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy (Matthew Annitto) of Glastonbury, Susan Schaffman of West Hartford and Karen Macaione (Christopher Roy) of West Hartford; her little loves, Taylor, Elizabeth Annitto, Laurel, Michael Schaffman, Aidan and Isabella Roy; her sister Barbara Raleigh; and her niece Carla Ferrarotti of Torrington.
