He was predeceased by: his sisters, Trudy Feuer and Blanche Heller; and his granddaughter Sarah Goldman. He is survived by: his parents, Samuel Goldman and Molly Goldman; his children, Edward Goldman (Karen Young) of West Granby, Michael Goldman of Bloomfield and Beth Gilbert (Steven) of Delaware; his grandchildren, Lauren, Jennifer, Julia Gilbert and Diana Goldman; and his sister Sally Melzer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Donations in his memory may be made to the Jewish National Fund or to a charity of donor's choice.
