He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Hofer and Eleanor Hofer of West Hartford; and his brother Herbert Frederick Hofer. He is survived by: his sister Jane Kettendorf; and his nephew Stephen Carl Hofer of Blandford, MA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
