She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, George Dyer and Elizabeth Dyer; her daughters, Elizabeth Black Zaccardi (Henry J. Zaccardi) and Sarah Margaret Black; her grandchildren, Sarah Elizabeth, Henry Paul Zaccardi and Endale Eyoel Paul Black; and her sister Caroline.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Connecticut Humane Society.
