It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dunlap Hayward Slater (West Hartford, Connecticut), born in New Britain, Connecticut, who passed away on July 19, 2011, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his grandfather West Hartford; his former wife Diana Slater; his sisters, Barbara Wall of Milan and Virginia Deabler of Lillian; his grandchildren, John, Sarah, Emily Sheffield, Meaghan, Hannah, Shea Kelly, Camden Slater and Acadia Slater; his great grandchild Patricia Slater; and also, Linda McBurney Sheffield of North Carolina, Alicia Kelly of Connecticut, Russell Slater of New Hampshire and Arthur Slater of Virginia.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the West Hartford Firefighters Assn.
