It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Heneage of West Hartford, Connecticut, born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on December 31, 2020, at the age of 105, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Louis and Mary Downey (Conway); her former husband H. Robert Heneage Jr.; her brothers, James E. Downey and Robert F. Downey; her daughter Kathleen Heneage Anderson Foster; her son-in-law Lawrence Helms (Gary); and her grandsons, Craig Helms and Harry R. Heneage IV.
She is survived by: her son Stephun Helms; her granddaughter Amber; her daughter Melinda Heneage Larson of Ft. Collins, CO; her husband Erick; her children, Kurt Larson, Mark Larson (Jennifer), Alexandra and H. Robert Heneage III (Patricia) of Tetonia, ID; her grandchildren, Tierney Heneage and Hillary Anderson Jurado (Tony) of Oakland, CA; her great grandchildren, Stella and Leo; her granddaughter Molly Anderson Fisher (Andrew) of Berkeley, CA; her great grandchildren, Wren and Starling; and her grandson Jay Anderson of West Lebanon, NH. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces.
The family hopes to have a post-COVID memorial gathering for friends and family sometime later in 2021.
