As Diane departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Diane may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Diane leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anastacio Estrela and Laudalina Estrela (Rezendes). She is survived by: her children, Kyle D. Cwikla, Sabrina A. Zimmerman (Patrick Zimmerman) and Heather F. Cwikla; her sister MaryJean Estrela; her grandchildren, Aubrey, Sebastian and Avery; and her aunts, Judy Rezendes and Nubelia Cabral. She is also survived by friends and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Molloy Funeral Home (906 Farmington Ave, West Hartford, CT 06119). A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church (872 Farmington Ave, West Hartford, CT 06119).
