It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David E. Goranson of West Hartford, Connecticut, born in Bristol, Connecticut, who passed away on April 8, 2024, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Don Goranson and Peg Goranson of Cromwell, CT; his friend Prader-Willi; his caregiver Pulmonologist Daniel Gerardi; and also John Schifferdecker. He was also cherished by several cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Research Fund of the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association (USA), 1032 E. Brandon Blvd. 4744, Brandon, FL 33511, or to the Town of Vernon Fire Department "Toys for Tykes" Program, 280 West Street, Vernon, CT 06066.
