He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Pinto (Costa Dos Santos) and Maria Dos Anjos Pinto; his brothers, Americo and Eduardo; his nephew Abel; and his son-in-law Jose Maria.

He is survived by: his wife Maria Dos Anjos; his children, Maria Fernanda, Antonio, Eduardo and Manuel; his daughters-in-law, Cathy, Cristina and Maryann; his grandchildren, Monica, Sandra, Michelle, Alyssa, Alexander, Ashley, Amanda, Olivia and Simon; his great grandchildren, Luca, Giuliana and Avery; his niece Graça; and his nephew Antonio.
