She was predeceased by: her parent Otto A. Harju; her husband Joseph; her daughters, Kathleen Fitzgerald and Mary Bodkin (Fitzgerald); and her siblings, Wesley, Helmi, Phyllis and Wilbert.

She is survived by: her parent Adela Harju (Mikkula); her daughter Colleen Fitzgerald; her son-in-law Howard Canistraro; and her grandchildren, Dylan, Charley and Molly Bodkin. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Hartford HealthCare at Home Hospice, 1290 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield, CT 06109.
