It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Arlene Bernstein of West Hartford, Connecticut, born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on November 7, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Elliot Bernstein; her parents, Harry Blum and Betty Blum (Ruchin); her former husband Marvin Gittleman; her son David Gittleman; and her brother Morton Blum.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Gittleman of Southington and Helene Ganezer (Lawrence) of Southington; her daughter-in-law Alexandra Gittleman of Croton; and her grandchildren, Michaela, Marissa Ganezer, Daniel and James Gittleman.
