She was predeceased by: her husband Robert S. Chalmers; her parents, Joseph Dlugos and Anna Dlugos (Gura); and her brothers, William and Jerome Dlugos.
She is survived by: her son Robert of West Hartford; her granddaughter Becky; her children, Susan of Westerly, RI and Richard of Palm Coast, FL; her granddaughter Grace; and her siblings, Dorothy Babon, Ruth Tortora, Rita Bassett and Robert Dlugos. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
