She was predeceased by: her son Miguel Angel Ortiz. She is survived by: her husband Angel Luis Ortiz; her son Luis Angel Ortiz (Ashley Ortiz); her grandchildren, Alexandria Ortiz, Emilee Ortiz and Ayden Ortiz; and her siblings, Hermenegilda Cruz (Gracin), Santos Quinones (Tita) and Felipe Martinez (Chuche). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like to request donations be made in her honor to Youth Challenge of CT (http://www.youthchallenge.org).
