He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarkis Kandarian and Rose Kandarian (Orfalian); his wife Lillian Kandarian (Surabian); his daughter Linda Ryan (Kandarian); and his siblings, Alice Kandarian and Everett Kandarian.
He is survived by: his son Steven A. Kandarian (Joellyn C. Townsend); his grandchildren, Jack, Molly, Emily Kandarian and Franci Ryan Courage (Marty); his son-in-law Jim Ryan; his great grandchildren, Sophie, William and Chloe Courage; and his niece Judi Malootian.
