He was predeceased by: his parents, James Johnston and Katherine Johnston (Brown); his former wife Christine; and his siblings, Jimmy, Michael, Bobby, Bonnie and Peggy.

He is survived by: his wife Marsha Johnston (Mahoney); his children, Richard A. Johnston (Kristina) of Torrington and Christine Miller (Eric) of Watertown; his siblings, Gerry, Judy, Sandy, Carol and Marion; and his grandchildren, R. J., Tyler and Katelyn.

We continue to remain concerned about the ongoing pandemic so masks will be required during all indoor services whether you are vaccinated or not.

To honor Mr. Johnston's memory and in lieu of flowers donations to a charity of the donor's choice would be greatly appreciated by his family.
