It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol R. Turonis of Watertown, Connecticut, born in Waterbury, Connecticut, who passed away on May 5, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John M. Turonis Jr.; her parents, John Sebastiano and Victoria Sebastiano (Gagliardi); and her siblings, David Sebastiano, Mary Ann Litvaitis, Florence Ward, Elizabeth "Betty" Winnie and Rosemarie Luksys.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa T. Mello (Chris) of Killingworth and Lori J. Turonis of Port Orange, FL; her brothers, John Sebastiano of Watertown and Anthony Sebastiano (Maria) of Middlebury; and her pets, Sunshine, Boston, Hank and Bailey. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
