We bid farewell to Basil Nastri (Watertown, Connecticut), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 17, 2025 at the age of 68. Basil touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Basil had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Basil may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Basil Anthony Nastri, Sr. and Patricia Nastri (Dance); and his sister Holly Nastri. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Nastri (Ruch); his son Trey Nastri; his siblings, Kim Nastri and Carmine Nastri (Sheri); his niece Shelby Nastri; and his nephew Cooper Nastri (Ciara). He is also survived by his Aunt "Butch", his mentor Uncle "Rawhide" and many loving cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hickcox Funeral Home (195 Main St, Watertown, CT 06795). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Bucky's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105.
