He was predeceased by: his spouse Jean Dwyer (Colella); his parents, Edward Dwyer and Ethel Dwyer (Draper); his siblings, Edward, Elsworth, Ronald, Howard, William, Lillian Krantz and Lulu Fortier; his grandson Jacob Perillo; and his great grandchildren, Luigi Velardi and Michael Fortin, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Lichwalla (Ron) of Watertown, Patricia Cyr (Don) of Bethlehem, Cindy Perillo of Watertown, Donna Pirie (Robert) of Watertown, Allen Dwyer, Jr. (Cynthia) of Naugatuck and James Dwyer (Daniel Bromell) of New Haven. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and a great great grandson.
