It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Veronica Sylvester of Waterford, Connecticut, born in Norwich, Connecticut, who passed away on October 31, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Machnicki and Elizabeth Machnicki (Bychkowsky). She is survived by: her children, Salvatore "Sal" (Cheryl Sylvester Jr.), David (Sherry Sylvester) and Pam (Bill Poirier); and her grandchildren, Scott, Nick, Lena, Michael, Bryan, Jadon and Noah. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
She played tennis faithfully until the COVID epidemic.
