She was predeceased by: her parents, Maxwell H. Sanford Sr. and Lillian Rolfe Sanford; her daughter Allison Rae Passarelli; her brother Reginald E. Sanford; her half-brother James R. Rolfe; and her sisters, Dorothy Bosworth, Gerri Harlow and Delores Beers.
She is survived by: her children, Norman J. Passarelli, Jr. of Waterford and Heather M. Elmore of Chapin, SC; her siblings, Maxwell H. Sanford, Jr. of East Lyme, Marsden Sanford of Montville and Winnie Stevens of Waterford; her grandchildren, Daria Gadbois, Brooke Schmidt, Sage McClafferty, Maxwell Passarelli, Hannah, Alec, Lily and Ashley Elmore; and her great grandchildren, Evangeline, John, Felicity, Juliette, William Gadbois, Finley and Charles Schmidt.
A memorial service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Lakes Pond Baptist Church (1144 Hartford Turnpike, Waterford, CT 06385).
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Shirley's name can be made to Lakes Pond Baptist Church.
