He was predeceased by: his parents, Percival Johnson and Doris Johnson (Laing); and his brother-in-law John Courtney. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean Johnson (Romeo); his siblings, Kenneth Johnson (Rosemary) of Waterford and Nancy Courtney of Waterford; and his children, Scott Johnson (Deborah Ott) of Dayville and Erica Caswell (Marc) of North Stonington. He is also survived by six grand children and four great-grand children.
