As Rita Rose departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Rita Rose. Though Rita Rose may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Genevieve Hurley and Daniel Hurley; her sister Ann Stratton; her daughter Denise Webb; her son-in-law Keith Frank; and her grandsons, Matthew and Tyler Frank.
She is survived by: her children, Martin McKinney Jr., Joanna Frank, Gerard McKinney, Walter McKinney and Alice McKinney-Lopez. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and six dear, nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul Church (170 Rope Ferry Rd, Waterford, CT 06385).
