He is survived by: his children, Richard Swaney, Jr. (Tina) of Waterford, Cindy Swaney of Quaker Hill and Tammie Schenking (David) of Colchester; his siblings, Kenny Swaney, Sr., Leon Swaney, Kate McKim of Old Lyme and Susan Coli of Old Lyme; and his grandchildren, Felicia Cummings (Branden) of Gales Ferry, Richard Swaney, III (Bryanna) of Waterford, Samantha Pasqualini (Justin Elliott) of Norwich, Haley Weber (Jaden) of Quaker Hill, Adam and Sabrina Schenking of Colchester. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
