She was predeceased by: her parents, Franciszek Szywała and Julia Nazimek Szywała; her siblings, Józef Szywała, Stanisław Błachowicz, Krystyna Widła, Bolesław Błachowicz and Bronisława Nowak; her sons, Marion Kosztala and Józef Kosztala; her great grandchild Liliana Davis; her grandson Christian Kosztala; and her stepson Adam Wozniak.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Kristina Fox (Nathaniel) and Bogumiła Wozniak (Douglas). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association or St. Jude Medical Center.
