It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Killoy of Waterford, Connecticut, who passed away on November 12, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Karen shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Karen farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Russell Smith and Margaret Lundberg Smith; her husband David H. Killoy of Lowell, Mass.; her children, Ian D. Killoy of Waterford, Devin P. Killoy of Santa Fe, N. M. and Kathleen L. Killoy of Santa Fe, N. M.; her brother Craig Smith of Newburyport, Mass.; and her grandchildren, Quinn, Declan and Shea Killoy.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Thomas L. Neilan & Sons East Lyme Funeral Home (48 Grand St, Niantic, CT 06357). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 4:30 PM at the Niantic Community Church (170 Pennsylvania Ave, Niantic, CT 06333).
