We are sad to announce that on February 27, 2022, at the age of 86, John L. Barnard Sr. of Waterford, Connecticut, born in Hartford, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Loretta C. Barnard (Cummings); his parents, Gordon P. Barnard and Marguerite Barnard (Lodovico); and his brother Howard Barnard. He is survived by: his children, James G. "Jim" Barnard (Cathy) of Waterford, Linda L. Barnard of Simsbury, Susan B. Wrisley of Somers and John L. Barnard, Jr. of Granby; his grandchildren, Sara Martin (Matthew), Kevin Barnard, Shannon Barnard, Mariah Barnard, Maggie Barnard, Samantha Barnard, Cole Wrisley, Breena Wrisley and Kayla Wrisley; his brother Gordon (Elaine Barnard); and his sisters-in-law, Cathy Barnard of Greenfield, MA and Barbara Beecher of Farmington, CT. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
