O'Neill of Waterford, Connecticut, born in New London, Connecticut, who passed away on March 25, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. O'Neill and Mary O'Neill; his wife Marguerite; and his son Jim. He is survived by: his friend Jack Cutillo; his son John J. O'Neill Jr. (Meegan); his grandchildren, Ivy, Silas, Penelope, Dennis and Joan Welch; his great grandchildren, Ryan and Patrick; his grandson Ron Welch; his great grandchildren, Stephen, Katie and Ethan; his granddaughter Mindy Welch; his great grandchildren, Sarah and Mike; his grandson Tom O'Neill (Lynnette); his great grandchildren, Marshall and Liam; his grandchild Freya O'Neill; and his great grandchildren, Ocean and Skylar.
Due to COVID 19 regulations, we ask that those in attendance be mindful of social distancing and wear a mask at all times.
During those early formative years, he quickly learned that personal service coupled with carefully designed and superbly built sails would be the foundation of his own sail making business.
