It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Henry Koning Jr. of Waterford, Connecticut, born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on January 13, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Koning and Mary Koning; and his sister Mary Willeford. He is survived by: his wife Marie Koning (Geer); his children, Angela Koning and John "JJ" Koning (Heidi); his granddaughters, Madelyn, Katelyn, Emmalyn and Karalyn Koning; and his sisters, Jean Eyberse, Patricia Lindner and Teresa Koning. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
