She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Woods and Dorothea Gray Woods; her husband Philip A. Wharton; and her brothers, Thomas Woods, Jr., Paul Woods and Kenneth Woods.
She is survived by: her children, Philip Wharton, Jr. (Paula) of Lunenburg, MA, Mary Neilan (Chris) of Waterford, Christine Wharton of Lowell, MA and Jennifer Wharton (Patrick Hsieh) of Honolulu, HI.; her siblings, William Woods (Julie) of Ogunquit, ME and Ann Rettman of Bolton, MA; her grandchildren, Christopher Neilan, Jr., Patrick Neilan (Kristen), Timothy Neilan, Emily DeRosa (Nick), Sarah Arnold (Ryan), Allison Wharton, Emma Wharton-Hsieh and Fiona Wharton-Hsieh; and her great grandchildren, Madison Neilan, Olivia DeRosa, Kellan Arnold and Elena Neilan.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
