It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Francis Cortina (Waterford, Connecticut), born in New London, Connecticut, who passed away on March 19, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Santi Cortina and Santa Purpora Cortina; his wife Ida Apicelli Cortina; his children, Santo Cortina (Jennifer) of North Stonington, Deborah Tewksbury (Eugene) of Bozrah and Lisa Rainville (Joseph) of Groton; his sister Rose Cosantina; and also Elvira Champa of Oakdale. He was also cherished by 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
