It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Verano of Waterford, Connecticut, born in New Britain, Connecticut, who passed away on March 4, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Naples and Grace Naples (Lynch); and her brothers, Ralph and Ronald Naples. She is survived by: her children, Anthony Verano Jayne (Zina) of Placido, FL, Theresa Stofko (Mark) of Marlborough, Barbara Palmer (Richard) of Plymouth, MA, Evelyn Caron (Ken) of Forestville and Katherine Verano (Donald Berkel) of Waterford; her sister Evelyn Naples of Kensington; her sisters-in-law, Dolores and Sylvia Naples; and her grandchildren, Amanda, Alicia, Angela, Nathan, Andrew, Brandon, Daniel, Kaitlyn, Clemente, Delaney and Adessa. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews.
