She was predeceased by: her parents, Alphonsine Gumbs and Thomas Hodge; and her sisters, Iris Richardson, Dorothy Hubert, Bernice Bertin-Maurice, Gail Leverett and Fidelis Hodge.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald Yates; her former husband Russell Lightfoot; her brother Prosper Hodge of Saint Martin, FWI; her brother-in-law Earl Leverett of Waterford, CT.; her children, Douglas Yates, Diane Cain, Debbie Phillips, Dawn Yates and Jeremy Lightfoot of Tennessee; and her daughters-in-law, Fusae Yates and Brandi Lightfoot. She is also survived by 9 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandchild.
