He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Wood and Catherine Wood (Baker); his sister Barbara Lastella; and his nephew Ron Lastella. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn F. Wood; his children, Donna Shafer (Thomas), Gary Wood (Christina) and Randy Wood (Tonilynn); and his grandchildren, Joshua, Jonathan, Jared, Lindsey, Hunter, Charley and Crystal.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Dinoto Funeral Home (17 Pearl St, Mystic, CT 06355).
