She was predeceased by: her father Gene Daniels Sr.; and her daughter Rachel Johnson. She is survived by: her mother Rose Price Daniels; her husband James Johnson Sr.; her children, Donna Godard (Wes), Terri Rudolph (Chad), James Johnson Jr. (Jeanette) and Daniel Johnson; and her brother Gene Daniels Jr. (Sue). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
