With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Claudia Shapiro of Waterford, Connecticut, born in Bridgton, Maine, who passed away on March 11, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Hazel Hartford and Claude Moynihan; her husband Lester Shapiro; her son Michael; her daughter-in-law Tracy; her grandchildren, Ari and Skylar Shapiro; her nieces, Pat Shaw, Hazel Shaw and Linda Shapiro-Jones of West Townsend, MA; her nephew Attorney Jeffrey Shapiro of Arlington, VA.; her great-niece Mikayla Jones; her great-nephew Jakob Jones; and her sisters, Sylvia Moynihan and Hazel Shaw of Bridgton, Maine..
