He was predeceased by: his parents, Joella Smith and Willie Perry; his sons, Willie Wright, Darryl Wright and Jeffrey Wright; his granddaughter Amanda Wright; and his siblings, Arthur Perry, John Perry, Harvey Wright, Reverend Dorothy McCargo (Wright), Dorothy Teasley and Chinnie Lee Teasley.
He is survived by: his wife Margie Wright (Addison); his children, Pamela Wright, LaTonja Wright, Shawn Wright, William Wright, Jr., Beverly Riddick, Valerie Wright and Stephanie Wright; and his siblings, Shirley Richardson, Barbara Boone, Marsha Parks, Henry Smith (Mary), Bruce Perry and Carlton Dunston. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
