He was predeceased by: his father Joaquin Batista-Ramos; his wife Martha Ramos (Fontanez); and his siblings, Wilfredo Ramos Sr. and Elizabeth Batista. He is survived by: his mother Hilda Batista (Rodriguez); his children, Melinda Rosado of Naugatuck, CT, Rachel Cabanillas (Saul) of Wolcott, CT, Leslie Lugo (Israel Jr.) of Beacon Falls, CT and William Ramos Jr. (Lindsey) of New Fairfield, CT.; his grandchildren, Natasha, Ariana, Mariah, William III, Christian, Mason, Cadyn, Giuliana, Camryn, Milani and Matisyn; and his siblings, Frankie Batista (Yvette), Ray Batista (Carmen), Luz Rodriguez, Miriam Echevarria, Iris Guadalupe (Wilbert) and Anna Batista. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
