He is survived by: his wife Jill Nowell Groves of Middlebury; his father Thomas Lucid Groves, Jr. (late Joan Gendron Groves); his stepmother Mary Ann Aquila Groves; his children, Thomas J. Giambra (Ashleigh) of Thomaston, William R. Giambra (Melinda) of Prospect and Shannon J. Groves of Middlebury; his siblings, Sharon G. Brezina (David) of Seymour and Richard A. Groves of Monroe; his grandchildren, Peighton, Madison Giambra of Thomaston, Tyler and Jordan Giambra of Prospect; and his father-in-law John T. Nowell of Shelton. He is also survived by Uncle.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home (167 Wakelee Ave, Ansonia, CT 06401).
