Stephen A. Mongelluzzo Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Stephen A. Mongelluzzo of Waterbury, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 10, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Mongelluzzo and Rose Mongelluzzo (Angelicola); and his sisters, Philomena D'Ambrosi and Rose Calabro. He is survived by: his wife Carol Mongelluzzo (Lavorgna); his daughters, Marie Berardi of Waterbury and Lisa Corey (Paul) of Waterbury; his grandchildren, Anthony Berardi and Carolyn Corey; his sister-in-law Mary Rubano; and his caregivers, Krysti Hall, Amanda, Crystal, Stacia and Gloria. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Colasanto Funeral Home (932 Bank St, Waterbury, CT 06708). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church (785 Highland Ave, Waterbury, CT 06708). A burial was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Calvary Cemetery (2324 E Main St, Waterbury, CT 06705).
