It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sonia Vazquez (Waterbury, Connecticut), who passed away on March 24, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonilda Irizarry and Raul Vazquez; and her brothers, Jose A. Olivera "Jumbo" and Luis O. Munoz "Papo". She is survived by: her children, Carmen Vazquez, Yesenia Vazquez, Maribel Irizarry Ramos, Idaly Irizarry, Elix Cintron and Sonia Diaz; her grandchildren, Julissa Vazquez, Dominque Dildy, Emanuel Perez, Luis Maldonado and Edwin Perez; and her sister Carmen Nelson. She is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
