We bid farewell to Shelley L. Tylec of Waterbury, Connecticut, born in Meriden, Connecticut, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 1, 2024 at the age of 71. Shelley touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leigh Burkhardt and Jean Burkhardt (Perreault); and her sister Claudia Burkhardt. She is survived by: her husband William Tylec; her brother Leigh "Chip" Burkhardt (Barbara Perzan) of Haddam, CT; her cousins, Denise, Steve Fiedler of Ludlow, MA, Michelle, Michael Coppa of Wakefield, RI, Peter, Lee Perreault of Unionville, CT, Jules and Lori Perreault of Wallingford, CT; and her sister-in-law Lane Tylec of Boston, MA..
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home (82 Fairview Ave, Naugatuck, CT 06770). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Michael's Episcopal Church (210 Church St, Naugatuck, CT 06770).
