Ruth C. Flaherty Obituary

We bid farewell to Ruth C. Flaherty in Waterbury, Connecticut, born in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 29, 2025 at the age of 103. Ruth touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Martin J. Flaherty Jr.; her children, Thomas, Mark and Gale; her siblings, Joseph, Norman, Lawrence, David and Margie; her nephew Jamie Fallstrom; and her father John Gatzak.

She is survived by: her granddaughter Shawyn Allen (Corey); her sister Gale Fallstrom Cellucci of Panama; her niece Angela (Nick); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Lucas Addivinola, Kari Gray (Tom), Marc Fallstrom, Mason Fallstrom (Kaylee), Michael Flaherty (Jaime), Meghan Smith (Jared), Matthew Flaherty, Finnian Flaherty, Jaime Newland-Corbin (Charlie), Jennie Pratt, Melissa Mearn (Joe) and Kaley Collier (Jason); her caregivers, Martha, Mahnu, Sandra, Mia and Gale; and also, Avery, Piper, Brewer Flaherty, Marley, Harper Molcyk, Easton Smith, Jordyn Alford, Reagan Mearn, Maddie, Aiden Gray, Liam Fallstrom, Hudson, Mason Newland, Nathan Collier and Tessa Travali. She is also survived by her 3 children, and her 7 grandchildren.
