He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie C. Lawrence and Inez Lawrence; his son Myron Craig; his sister Annie Pearl Williams; and his brother-in-law Zachary Allen.
He is survived by: his children, Felicia Watts of Hattiesburg, Darrell Lawrence (Beverly) of Bloomfield, CT, Wakine (Kim) and Zambe West of Middletown, CT; his grandchildren, Shaylin Young, DeAndre Lawrence, Myron Craig Jr., Jhakur West, DeAsia Lawrence, DeAaron Lawrence, Dyas Tate and Symora Watts; his children, Chandra Gary (Jerry), Jamie Whyte (Michael), Tammy Fields, Earl Fields and Steve Fields; and his sisters, Diane Allen of Eufala and Gwendolyn Lawrence of Eufala. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Chase Parkway Memorial (430 Chase Pkwy, Waterbury, CT 06708). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 1:15 PM to 1:45 PM at the New Pine Grove Cemetery (850 Meriden Rd, Waterbury, CT 06705).
