He is survived by: his parent Elder Richard Ellis, Sr.; his wife Verna Renee Ellis; his children, Richard Victor Ellis, Tyler Matthew Ellis and Samaya Tammie Ellis; his sisters, Lauren Boyd-Ellis of Clinton, MD and Marcie Diggs (Barry) of Hamden, CT; and his mother-in-law Tammie Williams. He is also survived by family members and friends.
