Maureen Murphy Obituary
We bid farewell to Maureen Murphy of Waterbury, Connecticut, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 27, 2025 at the age of 90. Maureen touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary O'Rourke (Lesnewsky) of Longboat Key, FL and Francis K. O'Rourke of New York; her husband Donald Lewis Murphy; and her siblings, Ronald O'Rourke, Ronald Holtje, Jean Smollen (Holtje) and Andrea O'Keefe (Holtje).
She is survived by: her children, Sean (Kathy), Donald (Paula), Tara and Todd (Elizabeth); and her grandchildren, Conor, Kara (Ben), Ryan, Colin (Sara), Brendan, Breege and Cavan.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cody-White Funeral Home (107 Broad St, Milford, CT 06460). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Infant Church (450 Racebrook Rd, Orange, CT 06477). A burial was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at the Orange Center Cemetery.
