She was predeceased by: her parents, Julio Hernando Medina and Ana Isabel Medina; and her brother Jorge Medina of Bogota, Colombia.. She is survived by: her husband Carlos Miguel Garcia of Puerto Rico; and her siblings, Julio Medina of Bogota, Margarita Bernal of Wilton and Mariela Medina of Waterbury. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins, as well as numerous friends.
