She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Sean McDonald; her parents, Hermann Niehaus and Mariechen Niehaus (Schade); her grandson Trent Jay Liseo; her in-laws, Robert and Mary McDonald; her sister Eleanor; and her brother-in-law Robert Rosa.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ellyn McDonald Liseo of New Haven and Suzanne McDermott (Michael) of Guilford; her grandchildren, Katherine Schade Liseo, Daniel Patrick McDermott and Caroline Margaret Lucy McDermott; her brother Terence; her sister-in-law Eileen McDonald of Delaware; her nieces and nephews, Robert Rosa (Laura), Margaret Rosa, Elisabeth Rosa, Maureen Watras (Julian) and Erin Sweet (Chris); and her friends, Joan Higley, Linda Lindsay, Janis Bloch, Mike, Nancy Christiano, Ricardo and Rachelle Alouidor.
