She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Bronson and Irene Bronson (French); and her siblings, Stillman, Elliott Bronson, Edith Gotlibowski and Irene Green.
She is survived by: her husband George H. Carter, Jr.; her children, Donald Carter (Kimberly) of Cheshire, David Carter of Ansonia, Beverly Hickey (Terence) of Bradenton, FL and Linda DiNino (Robert) of Waterbury; and her siblings, Joseph Bronson of Wolcott, Josephine Perkins of Wolcott and Charlotte Jensen of Edgewater, FL. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
