She was predeceased by: her husband Harold G. Bennett Jr.; her parents, James Kinion and Lillie Kinion (Andrews); her siblings, Kittie Lewis, John Kinion and James Kinion; her niece Edna Johnson; her nephews, John and Wilbert Kinion; her siblings-in-law, Clara Townes, Helen Walker (Ada) and Charles Bennett; and her godson Michael Norfleet.
She is survived by: her daughter Marissa V. Bennett; her sister-in-law Joan Huggins; her nieces, Thelma Jones, Pam Lassiter and Kim Williams; and her godchildren, Tanya Eley, Sharon Reynolds (Norfleet), Todd Norfleet and Alvin Norfleet. She is also survived by great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews and numerous special friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Zion Baptist Church (137 Pearl St, Waterbury, CT 06704). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the same location.
